DIY Bling Letter Board

This Granny loves her Bling! I have been wanting to get a letter board for a while, but all of the ones I could find were just so BLAH! So I decided with a little help from my Daughter-In-Law Heather and of course by Grandson, Locke, we could Bling up our own on a tiny budget!

Here are the supplies we used:
A $5 Letter Board from 5 Below
Hot Glue Gun and Sticks – $10 (We needed a new one)
And a HUGE box of bling – $9 with a Hobby Lobby 40% off Coupon and plenty to make several Bling Projects!

Of course if you don’t need a new glue gun, that will cut your expense.

We got a container of Bling with a variety of shapes. Locke had a great time sorting all of them. Then we each took a turn picking out the next shape that would go on the board. The grown ups took care of the hot glue. Check out this time lapse:

It was a fun project that you can easily do with kids – watch out for the glue gun. To make it more kid friendly you can use a special glue, but the drying time cuts into the fun.

Here is our final product. What do you think?

Now on to our next project – A Bling Mirror! Enjoy your crafting!

Namaste, Y’all!
